After his family lost their home to the bank, they moved in with his aunt, and then moved 6 more times before he graduated. Amar’s Story: Stanford Engineering and the Army Corps of Engineers

In addition to studying Computer Science, Amar received his Master’s in Energy and Infrastructure Engineering from Stanford, where he learned how to build advanced renewable energy projects and modern transmission. He paid for graduate school by joining the Army Corps of Engineers as a reservist, training to build bridges and other massive infrastructure projects. He continues to serve as an engineer soldier.

Our Plan to make building great infrastructure possible again, lower commute times, and spur renewable energy and high tech investment.
