Amar’s Story. Our Plan.
Amar comes from an immigrant family that struggled hard.
Amar’s parents are entrepreneurs. In the 90s they had incredible success, but when he was nine, his family lost everything, including their home.
They moved seven times before he graduated high school and only found stability when they were taken in rent-free by a family friend. He knows the dream and the struggle.
He is fighting for us.

Everything is expensive because lobbyists control our politics. We are lowering costs by fighting against rules written by corporate interests.
Amar is an engineer, soldier and a business owner.
He studied computer science, completed a Fulbright research grant in machine learning, received his MS in energy and infrastructure engineering from Stanford, and serves as a reservist in the Army Corps of Engineers.
He started and sold two companies.

Throughout all of our struggles, my parents made sure that we found our way to a house of worship every single weekend and that we prayed before every single meal. I grew up in the temple, the masjid, the church and at so many bar and bat mitzvahs.
Before anything else, I am a person of faith. I believe that our faith and wisdom traditions unite us.
